Eurocopter flying back to JetExpo

Missing out on JetExpo for several years, Eurocopter Vostok, Russian subsidiary of the European helicopter manufacturer, has come back. The company’s stand exposes its lightweight single-engine AS350 B3e helicopter. According to Laurence Rigolini, Eurocopter Vostok CEO, this model is the leader of the company product line in Russia. Currently, more than 50 helicopters of this type are flying in Russia, 20 of them used for VIP/corporate transportation.

This type boasting corporate interior design is exhibited at JetExpo 2013. This helicopter has already been delivered to a private customer and put into operation in the Moscow Region, Rigolini explains. "We have definitely done the right thing choosing this make for the exhibition," she admits. "This is a very dependable, powerful and handsome rotorcraft, the very model that has once landed on the top of Mt Everest" (in May 2005 — Ed.).

Next year, the company plans to exhibit its mid-class twin, EC175, with VIP interior design, Eurocopter Vostok CEO adds. "We already are in a position to invite our customers to Marignane to view EC175 VIP interiors", Rigolini states. Marignane, France, is the location of Eurocopter’s works.
